A lighter score

Keeping score is human. Houses, titles, the ranking that runs in the head at dinner. None of this is a sin. The trouble begins when the score is the only proof that you exist.

A conscious player still wants things. They simply see the wanting. They can pursue a result without handing the whole of themselves to it.
